04 July 1999

It's July 4th!

Last night the fireworks were spectacular, except one problem. The angle was off. Some of them fell in the football field, and some of it even fell in the seats. Buck got to sing "God Bless the U.S.A", and "Voices that Care". There was an excellent fiddle player too. Last night coming home I came up with a cool idea for a South Park episode. They could do it like "You've Got Mail". Use Cartman and Wendy. Oh yeah, Joe Fox has a dog. Hmm... Cartman's got a little starving black kid! When I get a chance to check my mail I'm going to chat privately with Matt and Trey to tell them all about my plot. We are not going to church today so I should get to check my email if I'm lucky. Mom and Dad did the bees today. They took the middle supers off two of the hives. They didn't have time to do the other three. More soon.

Hey,

Last night I fell asleep late. I watched some of the Rugrats Movie. Right now we're watching We're Back! since WWF is over and nothing else is on. Sister Barber is wanting to take us home now. Mom and Dad are working with the bees today. Tonight we're going to see the fireworks in town. Almost forgot! After the Rugrats I played the A Bug's Life game. I got to where Shawn was when we got here last night. After that I played a couple races on Circut Breakers. More tonight. I know it's not bedtime yet but I just had to tell you the latest news before I forgot it all. Mom and Dad planned to do the bees today, but they only had one full frame. Now they're getting wine making supplies. They took the girls so the rest of us played a game of UNO. Doesn't look Like I'm going to get to check my email today either. Violet shampooed her hair, she didn't have any lice left in her hair. Sorry I keep on dosing off. More later.

02 July 1999

Hello,

This morning I woke up and Mom was gone again. The girls trashed the house but we cleaned it up. I stepped on two sewing needles today. Both in my right foot. The girls had already eaten 6 of the doughnuts each. They drank all of the Root Beer. I just found a cherry seed stuck to my foot. I can't get that song from You've Got Mail out of my head. That brings us to now so I'll write more at bedtime. Tonight Shawn wanted to know if we could spend the night. Shelby is spending the night at our house. Jared, Devon, Bro. Barber, and Sis. Barber aren't here. When we got over here Shawn was playing a game he rented. It was a "Bugs Life" game. Dipstick seems to miss her brothers, sister, mom, and dad. We're watching T.V. right now. When I get done Shawn wants to jump. Coulter seems to enjoy the kitten, but the kitten probably feels she's being tortured. Violet spent the night at the Bible's again. I must have 30 emails in my inbox. "I've Got Mail!" Shawn wants to jump.

01 July 1999

Hey Diary,

Today as we both know I got you! I woke up and found mom gone and had to clean up after the girls. Afterwards I had a bowl of Cheerios. I played a little Hocus Pocus and Prarie Dog Hunting. We had planned to go back to the blueberry farm with the Barbers, but Mom had a job interview so we couldn't. We plan to go swimming Monday. July 4th is coming up. We plan to see the fireworks in town. Violet will probably have lice when she gets back from camp tomorrow. I was in the middle of watching You've Got Mail when I decided to take a shower. When I got out I found Mom was home and she bought you for me. Mom told David to get the Bug Zapper out of the garage. Then we read a story out of WWJD Kidz and Mom randomly chose Daniel in the Lions Den. It's after midnight now and I'm falling asleep. I have to be up early in the morning, so goodnight.
